Our community has been through a lot over the last 2 years, and while many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority at Fairview Dental – and our processes are designed to ensure your health and safety. All of our staff continue to use upgraded protective gear, which includes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), face masks and full face shields. And in between patients, we meticulously clean and disinfect rooms, as well as sterilize all instruments.
Here is a synopsis of our COVID-19 protocols and safety measures:
1) Prior to your appointment, our office will communicate with you to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. Should you have any symptoms, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
2) You will be asked to present to our office wearing a facemask. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
3) After reviewing your screening, you will be advised when you can enter the office, at which time you may have your temperature taken.
4) Only scheduled patients will be allowed entry into the office.
5) Parents and other family members will be asked to wait outside whenever possible.
6) There will be no physical contact with patients with the exception of treatment.
7) We have invested in high-efficiency air filtration systems (Hospital/Surgical Grade HEPA filters) in every room, that continuously clean the air every ten (10) minutes. Every patient will enter a treatment room where the air has been purified.
8) You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
9) Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
10) We ask that you continue to practice social distancing measures in common areas of the office.
We humbly ask for your adaptability and acceptance during these unprecedented times. Please contact us with any questions or comments you may have about our COVID-19 protocols. Our patients are our first concern, and we want you to feel completely safe during your appointment with us.
